Music with Meaning

What beautiful community sounds like.

Our Vision

Cadence youth orchestra uses the study and performance of excellent music from the classical, sacred, patriotic and folk genres to guide children toward the true, the good and the beautiful.

The Cadence Leadership Team is composed of professional musicians, music educators and parents, each of us passionate about leaving a legacy of music in the lives of children.

Our Team

Learn More

Cadence Youth Orchestra was created to be a sanctuary in the city for families who value the study of music in both the “high” (classical/sacred) and “low” (folk/patriotic) parts of culture. As our musicians develop personal music study skills and learn how to adapt those skills in an ensemble, they develop the lifelong habits of playing and performing music on an orchestra stage as well as in their family living rooms and on their front porches.
